Recreational Rowing - You Decide
Row for enjoyment, fitness and community.
Our Recreational Squad offers a relaxed and enjoyable way to experience rowing without the commitment of a racing programme. Members enjoy regular outings on the Thames, developing their skills while staying active and very social, with the fun of racing at local regattas.
Perfect for those returning to rowing, balancing busy lifestyles, or simply looking to enjoy time on the water with like-minded people. This squad is also the perfect coached environment for rowers looking to improve their technical skills, fitness and experience. Training regularly throughout the week, members develop confidence across all aspects of rowing, including sweep rowing, sculling, steering and racing.
It is an ideal next step for many graduates of our Learn to Row programme and a strong foundation for progression into senior or masters competition.
