THE 2026 DRAWÂ

This premier annual rowing event, held over 5.2 km (approx. 3.2 miles), takes place on one of the longest, calmest non-tidal stretches of the Thames. Crews start just outside Hampton Court Palace (Competitor Instructions) and race downstream to Stevens Ait, finishing near the Kingston Rowing Club (Refreshments and facilities available to athletes). The event is split into two divisions (morning and afternoon) to accommodate a high volume of entries.Â
The River Thames between Trowlock Island and Hampton Court Bridge will be closed to all traffic other than authorised boats from 10:30am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 3:30pm on Saturday 21 March 2026
