Kingston Small Boats Head 2026

THE COURSE - HAMPTON COURT TO STEVENS AIT,  KINGSTON

DIVISION 1 START AT 10:30 HOURS

DIVISION 2 START AT 14.00 HOURS

Described below are the various documents provided to enable you to take part in the event and to ensure your safety. Please check to ensure that you have received and understood them:

In case of an enquiry, you should contact the Event Secretary who will try to resolve your difficulty and answer enquiries about the event before the day.

River flow rate is updated daily here and race changes will be announced on this page.

Safety First: Officials will inspect boats to monitor compliance with British Rowing’s “RowSafe”. Any crew who fails to comply with the requirements specified within “RowSafe” may be disqualified.

We hope that you will enjoy the experience of rowing on this historic part of the River Thames and competing safely in this event.

For this years event:

  • Entries will only be accepted (before official close of entries) once we have 10 (or more) fully paid entries in the category entered. This is to prioritise racing prize-worthy categories, and allow for some inevitable withdrawals.
  • Upon close of entries, acceptance priority will be ordered as follows:
    1. Categories with 3 or more fully paid entries
    2. Fully paid entries with limited opposition
    3. All other completed entries in order of time of entry
  • All entries must be paid for and completed (no placeholders) before the close of entries (30/10/24)
  • All substitutions must be completed via BROE by 12:00 on 08/11/24. Any substitutions made after this date will need to be bought to the attention of race control on race day
