Fundraising is vital to the continued development of our club. Large projects have recently been completed that include installing a handicap access lift at our entrance, creating a disabled toilet, replacing the hot water system for our showers, refurbishing the kitchen and significant upgrades to the bar area.
Rosie's Regatta
On September 17th, Kingston Rowing Club remember Rosie Mitchell, one of our very talented junior rowers, who tragically passed away in 2016 at the age of 15 while rowing on the Thames. Her death was sudden and unexpected, attributed to Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS).
Following the tragedy, Momentum Children’s Charity provided incredible support to Rosie’s family, friends, and our club members. Rosie’s Regatta allows us to raise funds for KRC and Momentum Children’s Charity, which helps them continue their extraordinary work with seriously ill children and their families.
This year, we invite you to join us on September 27th at 8:30am for an incredibly special regatta to remember.
We encourage you to get involved by:
- signing up to race in fun, mixed scratch 8+ and get a T-shirt,
- bringing old rowing kit to donate to our second-hand kit sale,
- bringing cakes and other refreshments for our bake sale,
- donating to participate in our raffle (prizes - contact karen.rossouw.uk@gmail.com)
- coming down to the club to cheer on our athletes!
We hope to raise as much money as possible with this event to help very sick children and their families, as we have been helped.❤️🤍❤️

There’s a small race fee, which you can pay in advance. Please enter your name and make your payment. You will be able to select your T-shirt size and fit afterwards.

The performance T-shirt will carry the 2026 Regatta logo once you check out, you can select your size and colour.
