Article Index

What Does it Cost?

Junior Squad costs consist chiefly of a) Kingston Rowing Club Membership Fee and b) costs associated with entering Heads or Regatta races.

Kingston Rowing Club Membership Fees:

Kingston Rowing Club is a Community Sports Club operated on a ‘Not For Profit’ basis.

The Kingston Rowing Club membership fee is payable annually by 1st Oct. to KRC and is used to cover the basic running costs associated with club (building maintenance, rent, heating, lighting, cleaning etc) together with a limited contribution to the maintenance or purchase of boats.

Junior Membership fees are set lower than the equivalent Senior Membership fees reflecting the overall Club committement to Junior Rowing.

Current Junior Membership Fees are as shown under Rowing Membership section of the website.

Junior Head and Regatta Race Entry Fees.

Each Head and Regatta race charges an entry fee per athlete per event.

The actual fee charged varies according to the Head or Regatta in question but is currently around £12 per event

Please note that all Head and Regatta entry costs are managed centrally via a Junior Regatta Account with Juniors requested to ‘top up’ their account in relation to the number of races they compete in.
