Kingston Juniors to Race at Hampton

Although they were unable to race at their own Kingston Small Boats Head last Saturday due to adverse river conditions, Kingston Rowing Club's expanding and successful Junior section is sending 7 boats to the Hampton Small Boats this Saturday, 1 Dec.

Although they were unable to race at their own Kingston Small Boats Head last Saturday due to adverse river conditions, Kingston Rowing Club's expanding and successful Junior section is sending 7 boats to the Hampton Small Boats this Saturday, 1 Dec.

The group includes Max Wood and Tom Lloyd in the Junior 18 Doubles, with Phil Mcloughlin and Joseph
Hoskin in the J16 category.

There is a Junior 15 boys quad, which includes Ben Brook, son of former New Zealand World Champion, Tony
Brook. There are no less than 3 Womens Junior 16 and one J15 double sculls competing in the two divisions,
which start at 1030am and 200pm respectively.

The Kingston Junior Group is hosting an Open Day (from 930-330) on Sunday December 16 for any parents and
children who would like to become involved in the Junior Group in 2008 when Kingston celebrate their 150th Anniversary.
