Welcome to Kingston Rowing Club

Kingston Rowing Club is one of the world's oldest and most successful amateur rowing clubs. Based on the Thames between Kingston Bridge and Teddington Lock, KRC rowers enjoy one of the longest and calmest stretches of rowing water in the UK. The club caters for all levels, demonstrated by both a thriving Novice Squad and social events calendar, through to medalists in recent Olympic Games. KRC is the ideal venue for the typical club rower aspiring for success at National events such as Henley Royal Regatta and the British Rowing Championships.
The club also has a growing Junior Squad, aimed at introducing younger rowers to the sport, helping to foster competitive junior athletes and maybe create the Olympians of years to come. Regardless of whether you are a complete beginner or already an experienced rower, our aim is to provide you with the support, equipment and coaching you need to achieve your goals.

Trailers

Minibuses and trailers should not be left unattended or parked anywhere on the Lower Ham Road, please – they may be parked in the Kingston Academy (formerly called the North Kingston Centre) situated in Richmond Road, Kingston, KT2 5PE. Continue along Lower Ham Road from Canbury Gardens to Richmond Road (Hawkers/YMCA) and turn right towards Kingston. Kingston Academy is on the left, beyond Tiffin Girls School (use the second entrance, as marked, making a one-way arrangement).

A one way traffic system for minibuses & trailers will operate on the Lower Ham Road between Canbury Gardens Northwards to the junction with Richmond Road. Bank Lane should not be used in either direction by vehicles towing trailers, and towing rigs arriving from the Richmond direction should not go down the Lower Ham Road at the Hawkers/YMCA junction, but continue along Richmond Road towards Kingston and turn right down Woodside Road.

To return to Canbury Gardens to load boats after the race, turn left out of the KA car park and then right down Woodside Road.

At the Kingston Academy, please park trailers in the area parallel to the Richmond Road, carefully and in an orderly pattern, to avoid creating an obstruction. Trailers may have to be collected during the day, and there are building works in progress on the site, which means there is only a single entrance / exit to the parking area. Thank you for cooperating with this.
