JUNIOR SECTION REGATTA ENTRY FEES
Junior athletes
will be advised by the Senior Coach in advance of when the individual/crew is
to be entered to represent Kingston Rowing Club at either a Regatta or Head
race.
The entry fee
per ‘seat' for such events differ but is typically in the £7-£9 range.
Experience shows
that the process of co-ordinating and collecting entry fees can be a lengthy
and time consuming process.
Consequently in
order to ease the administration of Regatta and Head entry process the Junior
Section operates a Regatta Account:
- Any athlete who is deemed ready to race will be asked by the
Senior Coach to make a payment into the Regatta Account.
- Depending
upon the anticipated number of races to be entered that season this will
usually be in the region of £20 - £50.
- This sum
will be held in trust for that athlete and used to cover the cost of any
events entered by that athlete.
- When the
sum held for that athlete reaches a certain level a request will be made
for a ‘top-up' to that athletes account to be made.
- Should
the athlete leave the Junior Section a full refund of any sum remaining in
the account will be made.
Please
note that any athlete who's Regatta Account is in deficit will not be permitted
to race.
